List Of Abilities
Evolved humans, natural or synthetic, can do extraordinary things. Because Heroes is all about abilities, I have done my best with this HUGE list. It's in two parts, alphabetical order. (To find something quickly, press Ctrl F!) All abilities are canon!
Ability Dice: If everyone could choose their ability freely, they would most likely take the most powerful one out of em'. Besides, evolved humans didn't get to choose what they get, that's why we have this system: Before you start a character, you roll the "Ability dice". This single roll will determine the character's ability. The number of sides matches the number of abilities. Once you hit a number, for example 35, you need to see here which ability is number 35. Good luck!
What do the fields (Immunity, Levels etc.) mean?: Immunity: Defines if a character who possesses this ability is immune to the effects of this ability, whether it's used by them or someone else (like Ted is immune to radiation). Levels: How many levels of experience can be reached with an ability and how much XP each takes to reach.
Action(s): This is important. Actions are like small feats that can be accomplished with an ability, like if your telekinetic you can stop attacks in mid-air, hurl objects at the opponent or just throw that son of a bitch across the room with sheer force of will. With higher levels of experience you can perform more powerful actions. Actions are usually used in battles only.
Final Level : The final level can't be reached by normal means, only a supercharger or a specific item can unlock it and only temporarily. While that final level is unlocked, you are much more powerful.
Dumped Abilities : The list might miss some powers. Those have been left out because they would be useless in this rpg. Some of these include Age Shifting, Age Transferal, Oil Secretion, Omnilingualism, Plant Manipulation, Spider Mimicry etc.

1. Ability Absorption
|
| |
Immunity: No. |
| Users: Arthur Petrelli. |
Description: The ability to steal the abilities of others through physical contact, rendering them powerless. This is a hard ability to advance, because taking powers is the only way to demonstrate it. Each time you steal an ability you gain 75 xp. Stolen abilities are initially level 1 abilities.
- How it's done: First, you need physical contact. Roleplay an attempt to grab the victim, after that the opponent will naturally do something defensive. Your speed is the decisive factor here! If the attempt is not evaded or somehow fended off, your "attack" is considered successful. To get the ability, you must be undisturbed for 1 more. During that turn you can't attack or defend. If the absorber remains unscathed the absorption is done, simple? Note that the target can still break free if he has higher strength, or if he uses an ability defensively.
1 - You are quite inexperienced.
2 - Requires 220 xp, you can now take multiple abilities at once.
3 - Requires ???, you can now take abilities right after touching them down, so you don't need to wait for a turn.

2. Ability Replication
|
| |
Immunity: No. |
| Users: Peter Petrelli, Draph.
|
|
|
|
Description: The ability to replicate the abilities of others through physical contact. (Higher levels of experience with this ability can increase the maximum limit of replicated abilities). Each time you replicate an ability you gain 25 xp, it is also the only way to gain xp with this ability. Replicated abilities are initially level 1 abilities.
- How it's done: It's simple, sacrifice a turn and roleplay how your character touches the target, copying the ability and replacing the former one. You need a turn per ability. (The former method is used in fights). When interacting with other players in open roleplays and such, you can copy their powers (gives xp too).
1 - You are quite inexperienced.
2 - Requires 50 xp, nothing special yet.
3 - Requires 150 xp, you can now keep a maximum of 2 replicated abilities.
4 - Requires 325 xp, replicated abilities are now lvl 3 if your character has used them before.
5 - Requires 550 xp, you can now keep a maximum of 3 replicated abilities.
6 - Requires ???, you can now replicate up to 3 abilities at once and you can keep a maximum of 5 replicated abilities.

predict the outcomes of certain situations, and then to accelerate
oneself along that path of causality immediately.
